waiheke island

today we took a ferry to waiheke island, where we learned about sustainable productions of wine. we planted trees in the forest (with some DISGUSTING gloves), then we went wine tasting and learned about how the wine is sustainably produced. we then enjoyed a lunch then took a bus tour of the rest of the island. something i found interesting was when the owner specifically explained how the different types of wine were produced, like the different ingredients, how things were fermented, etc. overall, this was a great experienced, and i am astonished on how pretty the island was
