Sustainability trust

The sustainability trust that we visited today was very interesting. I love the idea of having a circular economy where products can be reused and repaired. I really love how they’re giving new life to fabrics in a way that provides safer homes for needy community members by providing them with curtains. Something I’ve never heard of before was the waste hierarchy and learning that recycling was so low on it made sense and reframed my views. Recycling seems like one of the best things to do but it still uses a lot of energy to recycle that waste. The circular economy promotes waste reduction for landfills.
