For our last day in Auckland we went to Sanford Fishing Company. First off, I would like to say I liked the overall area of the location, and it was a nice, peaceful walk. When we got there we learned how much of a competitive business fishing is, and how they need to have auctions for restaurants and fishing companies for them to make their profit. Sanford does this sustainability, and shows commitment to running this business sustainability economically and socially. I thought it was interesting to learn how a fishing industry can be so sustainable and what an impact it has on the city!
