It was interesting to finally explore Auckland and get a feel of the city. I was surprised to find how much sustainability plays a role in business in New Zealand. I was curious to learn more about how corporate culture is in New Zealand since it is so money and work oriented in the U.S. After visiting sky city I explored Winter Garden and really saw how much nature was incorporated into this city. I realized that being immersed in nature really makes you want to take care of it. This is why so many of the sustainability laws here include adding green spaces to the city. I think this would be an awesome first step for the U.S. to do because it would promote a connection with nature that we desperately need.
