architecture school and otago

today we learned a lot of different information about new zealand architecture, and the building of the city also how this is sustainable. we learned about the impact of plastic packaging and how our choices impact carbon footprint. we also had a discussion about public transportation, and our host was surprised that we don’t use public transportation in the LA area, with especially how big it is. i found this interesting because traffic back home is so bad and how inefficient the transportation system is at home.
