Te Pa Pa

Today we visited Wellingtons natural history museum. One of the most interesting exhibits was the copy of the Waitengi treaty. When signed this treaty promised the Māori people rights and ownership to their native lands. This treaty was not upheld and the Māori people continue to fight for repossession of their native lands. Along with Māori history the museum had exhibits pertaining to the NZ environment and this included and earthquake simulation room.
