MUSEUM OF NEW ZEALAND TE PAPA TONGAREWA and group work

Today we went to the MUSEUM OF NEW ZEALAND TE PAPA TONGAREWA. At the musem we got to explore and see the many exhibits. one of the exhibits that struck me the most was the War exhibit that showcased the story of the Gallipoli campaign in World War I through perspective of eight New Zealanders. This showed me how WW1 was truely a global war and that People even as far away from the front lines as newzealand were drawn into the fighting. We also experienced the earthquake simulator walked in the natural spaces, and learned about maori cooking and land thorugh a documentary that was playing in one of the exhibits. overall I was amazed by the interactiveness and depth the musem provided. I was also happy that the musem was free unlike many in the united states. After going to the musem I worked with my group as we progressed through finishing up our digital story.
