Sustainability Trust

Today we visited the Sustainability Trust in Wellington. It was cool to see a company that does more than just talk about how they are sustainable. They showed us all of the things they were doing to contribute including remaking curtains for families that need the extra insulation in their homes. They also have a workshop where people can bring broken household items and people can get them fixed instead of throwing them out and buying new ones. It was interesting to learn that although recycling is good, what’s much better is reducing and reusing. The Sustainability Trust does this with their different initiatives.
