Today, we visited the Te Papa Museum and I had an absolute great time! We first checked out the room where they had some of their own native animals. I really liked looking at these animals because I appreciate wildlife. What I found really cool was when we visited the earthquake center home. I really felt like I was in an earthquake. The thing that caught my attention was most of the writing was in Maori. I guess I shouldn’t have been so surprised as lots of Maori was spoken and written throughout the whole trip but since the museum seemed to have a mix of European and Maori feel, I felt that the Maori language was more relevant in the museum. We also checked out the World War I portion of the museum and the statues looked so real! I was amazed with the architecture in the museum. I found the museum to be cool overall. I love New Zealand!
