University of Wellington architecture

I loved all the discussions from today. I thought it was very interesting when the professor brought up the impacts of plastic bags vs. products that people by. It made me look at how the products that I buy impact the environment. There is a big focus on plastic bags but not what is put in them. There can be a lot of sustainability put around what people buy especially with food. There is so much that goes into agriculture that can be hard to imagine. I also never thought about the environmental impact of building materials. The idea of a circular economy where building materials can be used for something else makes a lot of sense. This was never something that I realized was an issue until it was brought up.
