I like Sky City and New Zealand as a whole’s approach to sustainability: that the Earth belongs to not only ourselves but to those who came before us and those who will come after, so it is our duty to keep it clean for future generations. The speaker talked a lot about challenging the norm, which is so important to climate change issues. Americans may not take up sustainable policies not because they are difficult, expensive, you name it, but because they are simply not the norm. We must do what we can to incrementally instill change to break wasteful norms!
Also got to see Kiwis at the zoo, along with a bunch of other cool animals! The zoo practices lots of sustainable policies too and is used for wildlife rescue and conservation
