today we learned a lot about sustainability at the sky city hotel. i am astonished how environmentally conscious new zealand, and they truly set a good example for other countries. we met jonathon who was speaking māori and taught us a lot more about their culture. he also made each of us share why sustainability was important to us, which i found interesting to hear everyone’s opinions. i also found it interesting about the rules new zealand has for gambling, and as someone who has been to las vegas a lot and seeing how much people gamble there i believe that we should bring some of these rules into the u.s.
