We arrived in Auckland early in the morning today and had a nice bus ride to the hotel. We had an informative orientation to New Zealand in the morning and a delicious group dinner! We had some very wet weather today with flood warnings for the better part of the afternoon into the evening. I managed to slip away in the late morning through the afternoon for meetings with colleagues at AUT South Campus – I learned so much, and am excited to develop a course highlighting Māori culture.
